Refund policy

We want every Meraki purchase to feel special. If something is not right, this policy explains clearly what you can do, how to do it, and what to expect. Please read it carefully before getting in touch.

1.   OVERVIEW 
All Meraki by Rashmi Bajaj pieces is handcrafted by our skilled artisans in India which makes our pieces one of a kind. As each piece are handcrafted, they may be slightly different from each other. Each piece undergoes through quality checks before dispatch. We take pride in the care that goes into every order. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges.

Please note: minor natural variations in colour, texture, or finish are part of the character of our products and are not considered a fault or reason for exchange.

We maintain the highest level of hygiene, due to that all sales are considered final. We offer exchanges in certain circumstances only, as set out below.

  • Damaged item: the product reaches you damaged or faulty (photo evidence required)
  • Wrong item sent: you received a different item to what you ordered (photo evidence required)

If your order meets this condition, you may post the items in their original state (unworn, with the original packaging, and all tags intact and unaltered) and we will send out a replacement item.

Returns that display damage or evidence of wear and tear will not be authorized and shall be returned to the customer.

1.  Kindly notify us within 2 days of receiving your order by sending an email to info@merakibyrashmibajaj.com

2.  Prior to initiating the replacement process for your incorrect/damaged product, we request that you share a photograph of the item with us. Our team will review the image and determine whether the product qualifies for a replacement.
3.  Once our Quality Control team approves this, we will provide the details to return the damaged or incorrect product.

4.  Upon receiving the damaged or incorrect product, we will dispatch a fresh or correct product to you.

5.  Any Returns if approved will be sent to your delivery address (mentioned on the order)

Please note: That any packages that are lost or damaged during the return process are beyond our responsibility. Additionally, returns that have not been previously authorized will not be accepted.

2.   HOW TO INITIATE AN EXCHANGE STEP BY STEP

 Please follow these steps carefully. Exchanges that do not follow this process may not be accepted.

Step 1. 

Contact us within 2 days of receiving your order. Email us at info@merakibyrashmibajaj.com with the following:

- Your full name and order number
- The reason for your return
- Clear photographs of the item(s) especially if damaged or incorrect

 Step 2.
Wait for approval from our team.
Our team will review your request and photographs and respond within 2 business days.
We will let you know whether your return has been approved or not.

 Step 3.
Once approved, securely package your item(s).
Please ensure the item is packed safely to avoid any damage in transit.
Include a copy of your original order confirmation inside the parcel.

Step 4.
Ship the item back to us using a trackable method.
We will provide our return address only once your exchange has been approved. We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service.
We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during the return journey.

Step 5.
Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will dispatch a fresh or correct product to you.

3.   WHO PAYS FOR RETURN SHIPPING?
If the item is damaged or incorrect: We will cover the cost of return shipping.
For international customers, shipping costs are always the responsibility of the customer, regardless of the reason for return. We recommend using a trackable, insured courier as we cannot be held responsible for parcels lost or damaged in transit.

4. WHEN WE CANNOT OFFER AN EXCHANGE?
We are unable to issue an exchange in the following circumstances:

1.     You do not contact us within 2 days of receiving your order.
2.     The item has been worn, used, or shows signs of wear and tear.
3.     The item is not in its original packaging or tags have been removed or altered.
4.     The return was not pre-approved by our team before being shipped.
5.     The item was purchased through a third-party website or physical store — please contact the original retailer in that case.
6.     The item is lost or damaged during the return transit back to us.
7.     The delivery address provided at checkout was incorrect or incomplete.
8.     A PO Box address was used and delivery was not possible.
9.     Delivery was refused or the package was rejected by the recipient.
10.  Two unsuccessful delivery attempts were made by the courier and the parcel was not collected.
11.  The item was damaged by the customer after delivery.
12.  Minor natural variations in colour or finish — all our products may vary slightly from website photographs due to lighting, screen settings, and the nature of the materials used.

Important for international customers: If you refuse accepting delivery of an international order, please be aware that returned parcels can incur significant costs (upwards of £120). In such cases, this cost will be deducted from any refund, or if the order value is lower than the return cost, no refund will be issued.

5.   ITEMS DAMAGED OR LOST IN TRANSIT
We take every precaution to package your order securely. However, once a parcel leaves our hands, it is in the care of the courier.

  • We are not liable for items damaged during outbound delivery transit
  • We are not liable for parcels lost during outbound delivery transit
  • We are not liable for items lost or damaged during return transit

If your order arrives damaged, please photograph the packaging and the item immediately and contact us within 2 days. While we cannot guarantee a resolution in every case, we will do our best to assist.
